Lisa Breaux
Founder, The Home Sustainable
There I was, in the shower staring down way too many plastic product bottles and it finally hit me:
‘there must be a better way’
Hi, I’m Lisa! I am a So Cal surfer girl and an energy Economist living in Northern Virginia and working as a consultant in electricity public policy. I have lived east coast and west coast as well as abroad. Right brain, left brain. Fashionable urban dweller and rugged mountain hiker. A little bit of everything.
Perhaps my greatest adventure has come in the last few years- marrying my love and becoming a mom.
Like you, I am concerned about our planet and want to be a conscious consumer. But, I also have a toddler which means I find myself buying a lot of things and having limited time to consider my purchases.
I started The Home Sustainable to share information with families, especially moms- literally the busiest people on earth. The Home Sustainable is here to help us all make our purchases matter by being better to our home and better to the earth.
